Philippine congress extends martial law in Mindanao to end of 2019

MANILA, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Philippine congress grants President Rodrigo Duterte's request to extend martial in Mindanao in southern Philippines until December 2019.

This is the third extension of martial law in Mindanao.
