Singapore stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.19 percent, or 5.99 points, to close at 3,213.65.
A total of 1.03 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 947.97 million Singapore dollars (about 701.37 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered Losers by 192 to 170.
The STI index went down 0.41 percent, or 13.26 points, to close at 3,207.66 on Wednesday.
