Liuzhou aims high in global smart household appliances market

Liujiang district in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, has devoted great efforts to developing its foreign trade since the start of 2023.

Li Daineng, chairman of Saibaolong Electric Appliance, said that the enterprise's first overseas order this year was for 6,800 intelligent drum clothes dryers, and its second order was for 10,200 such products.
 

Li explained that one dryer comes off the production line and can be packaged every two minutes. It is expected that the enterprise will sell 30,000 dryers to the overseas market, and its domestic and overseas sales target will hit 50,000.
 

Zhang Chunfeng, of Saibaolong Electric Appliance, noted that its products are mainly sold to countries such as Indonesia, South Africa and the United States. Zhang also stated that the enterprise has been reaching out to other potential international customers. 
 

The smart household appliances industry is a major part of Liujiang's industrial development. The district has introduced 29 enterprises that will manage the sector; with about 16 of them having already started operations. Among them, seven are enterprises above the designated size.
